| I am interested in helping you :) so i have plenty of time on my hands and am rather creative (if i may say so myself ) i want to open a web site, with tutorials for making your profile pretty and what not,and a few forums to chat on as well. does anyone think this is a good idea? i don't want to attempt it if it's a complete flop

i guess the forums are mostly for questions people have to ask me that aren't on the site.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I think it's against YT rules to link to other talk forums, so we probably couldn't link to yours. What is possible I believe, is for you have a website that has information, wallpaper samples, and animated gifs we could use. You also could be sure and look out for new members, you can find the newest member listed on the index page and offer to help them set up their page. I don't know if you are aware of it, but there is an off topic discussions page Off Topic Discussions - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community, as well as "4 women talk" forum 4WomenTalk.com that's part of the Yorkietalk network. There is also a test forum Test Forum - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community where several of our members have running threads offering to help make avatars, and maybe you could do something like that, but with a profile page. Your profile page is great by the way. Yesterday, they set up a tutorial forum for info on setting up profile page, but I didn't bookmark it so, I'll have to look it up.

| oh no, i think there's a misunderstanding the website is only background images put together for people to use on their profiles, and brief tutorials (with pictures) because words are hard for a lot of people to understand. i've tried explaining and i know, like most people, i am the kind of person who has to see something to understand. but if that isn't allowed i'll scratch the idea

Administrator | There are a few profile guides here in our YorkieTalk How-To section: YorkieTalk How-To Guides - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community Feel free to write your own thread if you would like, or make your own site to teach members how to customize their profile here. We would not allow promotion of your forum here at YorkieTalk if it was focused on Yorkies. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I still like the part about backgrounds, and administration said as long as there was no yorkie forum. I'd send people to you to get advise. Think about it.

| Good grief!! I need help with everything but putting the colors together for the profile page. Don't have my avatar posted because I don't know how to get it out of e-mail. Don't know how to post "gif" or whatever except from the site that Gypsy & Me posted. That worked for me. Tried others the same way and it flopped. I don't know how to do the background even though someone tried to help me. Ohhhhhhhhh, such pain!!!!!!!!! in you know where.

| I think it is a great idea! Just don't do a yorkie forum. Do an instructional website and have a forum so folks can ask questions about that. Admin has said that if it is not a yorkie forum, they are for it. Lots of folks would use it, I think. |

| I think it's a good idea too. It would be helpful for people who are on v bulletins besides YT too. Would you be doing it for fun or a business? I'm not sure if it would be a big money maker ad wise but who knows?
