Thank you for all your well wishes!!

I went to see Andre yesterday and he is still in pain and seems to spend a lot of time sleeping. I don't know when they will release him, but probably not until he can manage certain things. He is going to need a lot of PT, etc.

I took a picture of him. He was out like a light, but I think he looks so angelic in this picture.

I am so sorry he is having to go through all of this!!
But I know his family is there for him 100%!

Just now got a chance to follow up on your grandson. I'm a retired x-ray tech, used to work in the OR and saw a lot of bad breaks. His is right up there with the bad ones! I'm so sorry he is going through this. I'll continue to keep him in my prayers. Hope mom threw the skateboard in the trash! ( I hate those things, and my heart was in my throat when my son would ride one)

I just saw this .... poor baby! I hope he improves daily and will heal completely. He has a long road ahead of him ... I have two grandsons that age and I cannot imagine them having to be still that long. Maybe there will be ways we can help after he is better and "boredom" sets in. Perhaps we could send him cards, games, etc. I will certainly keep him in my prayers along with your daughter. God bless you all, I know you have your hands full!
