| ahh I'm so irritated! So I just bought my first home which is great other than everything my husband and I have to do, then today at work the lady who works next to us whacks my car with her door and caused $700 worth of damage and I'm only 21 so for a rental car for 3 days is almost $400, which i think is outrageous, ugh Im so frusterated

| yes her insurance would cover it, but the insurance only covers so much for a rental a day usually about $20 for me to rent a car would be about $90 a day, so she would have to pay it out of pocket and she intimidates me because she's a flippin attorney

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That stinks. I wouldn't let her intimidate you. Maybe your insurance company can help work it out. Good luck!

| That is ridiculous! You shouldn't be paying a penny. Don't let her intimidate you! Maybe you should get a lawyer...I do not know. Good luck girl! Maybe contact your insurance agent for advice.

| You definitely should talk to her insurance company. One thing I don't really recommend (until it's absolutely necessary) is contacting YOUR insurance company. My husband is an auto insurance adjustor and has told me repeatedly about the people that call in to report something and then end up, for some reason or the other, not filing a claim. Well, unfortunately that still constitutes a "claim" on your part. Once it's opened, it's on your "record" and with some insurance companies, it's three strikes and you're out. It's a sucky policy (the unfinished claim part) but it's the truth and some people don't know about that. Do your best to deal with their insurance company first without involving yours. And most people do only carry $20 rental insurance and these days that's usually not enough. But maybe you can deal with a little bitty cheap car for the time you have to? If the $20 will even cover one of those. Good luck and don't let her intimidate you!
