| I think you should listen to your "mom instincts".....In the times we live in this is not something that should be put off...maybe you can have a heart to heart with your daughter and tell her your very concerned.....

| Donating YT 11K Club Member | If she eats a lot and eats normal I wouldn't be concerned. But if she says she is fat and is only 99 lbs at 5'6 you should be a little and asure her she's not. I'm shorter 5'4 and weigh more than her, i want to lose and be around that weight but more, not that low.

| Between the ages of 12 and 16, I went through some "issues" with eating. My legs were always "fat", my abs were NEVER toned enough; I saw myself as HUGE. Several of my friends were Bulimic and it was just normal for us to discuss how fat we were. (None of us were bigger than a size 3.) I remember haveing these "competitions" between a few friends of mine, to see who could get into the smallest jeans, do the most crunches, go the longest without eating...very messed up. Now looking back at those pictures, I have no idea how I saw myself as HUGE. Self-image is still something I struggle with to this day. If you may think your daughter may be struggling with an eating disorder, but eats like a normal girl...you may want to read about Bulimia Nervosa. Eating disorders are very serious things to struggle with. The link below is from the National Eating Disorders website and explains a lot about Bulimia. http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.o...ofile_ID=41141
