| I used to when I was a young girl. My grandmother taught me and we used to play all the time. I remember the game as being similar to Rummy but with a billion cards. My Gma used to give us a wire baking rack to hold our cards in cause little hands just couldn't handle that many

| My grandparents used to play canasta (and it was one of the few things my grandma could still do very well even after her Alzheimer's started!). They taught my younger sister but I never had any interest in it. It looks very hard! I agree, play it on Pogo! That should help you learn quite a bit before jumping in with other people. I play dominos on Pogo but only by myself - against the computer - because I try to play during work and when I get interrupted, I don't want to tick someone off that's waiting for me to take my turn.

| You don't have to buy the membership to play most of the games. Not sure about canasta but none of the games I play require the paid membership.

| Awww, that stinks. They get you hooked on one and it just has to be a membership one.

| I love pogo too! I am there when I'm not on YT or playing with Little Man! I love Lottso, Canasta, and Dice City Rollers. I like most of the games.
