| Great thread Missy!!! I haven't been out much since we have been sick...but the last few things I did were a few weeks ago (when we were out and about).... I, one, held the door for an elderly lady at the post office. I, two, let a man go in front of me in line at the post office. I, three, helped a man at the post office (elderly) who had just gotten money orders for some bills (and the clerk normally helps him, but was really busy), so I filled out everything he needed, put each bill/money order in the correct envelope and got them ready to mail for him. I, four, let some cars pull out onto the busy road because there was a line waiting to get on the road. I, five, I gave my daughter a "free day" today and a big ol hug because she is just wonderful...and I think everyone needs a hug! ug0ec148.gif

| I try to do something nice everyday...whether it's holding a door, letting someone merge in traffic, tell a stranger they look nice or I like their outfit, tip a friendly person at the drive thru, send an unexpected card to someone. It always makes me feel better too

| Thanks for starting this thread! I just wanted to say thank you for starting this thread and thank you to everyone who posted their kind stories. It really made me smile all day! Just gave me a great feeling to remember that there are still many generous people everywhere! This thread reminds me of the warm smile I get whenever I read any of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books. Anyway, thank you!!
