| I Caved!!!!!!! Well, after my heartfelt plea for quitting advice, I'm such a loser, I caved in a HUGE way!!! My friend from college was in town this weekend so a bunch of us got together, just like old times. We were out, we were drinking and I just caved and started smoking I felt like crap the next day too. I'm back on the wagon, but despite the smoking, I had a kick-ass weekend!!! |

| Its okay that you caved. Just keep trying, i actually have been thinking about quitting again so we can both be raving lunatics together. lol I learned not tell everyone in my family as well as friends when im quitting. Only because they actually add to the pressure. This way when you do cave you dont have to worry that you are disappionting them. I didnt say anything until i knew i was over that major craving. When anyone asked oh did you quit? I would respond that i was cutting down. just in case i fell off the wagon. I know that prob sounds wierd huh? but it worked for me. im still rooting for you |

| Oh don't beat yourself up too hard. However am very thrilled to hear about your great weekend. I too am a smoker and have been fighting your same battle the past couple months. It is not easy so I feel your pain. Hang in there and keep on trying. (Maybe tell yourself that all that money you save not buying cigs you can buy yourself a new Yorkie) WOW, what motivation huh? LOL!

| My dad was a smoker for 40 years. He had 2 heartattacks in one day because of it. He used to the patch for a week and has been smoke free since october! It's amazing.

| I have smoked since i was 16 yrs old and i am 21 now. I quit for a 1 1/2 yrs. and started again when i was taking care of my mother (alzheimers) (that alone would make anyone smoke). part of one sentence is a lie ...can you guess which? i wish i could quit but haven't made the effert again. I applaud you for jumping on the wagon again.
