One of my coworkers wants to be on that show. She says she has no secrets. Even if I was on there I would fail the lie detector tests even if I told the truth. I would be too nervous.

She didn't think she lied. When they asked her if she thought she was a good person in her mind she thought she was but deep down didn't believe it so it came up as a lie on the detector. She doesn't know the results from her test.
I wonder what the questions would have been for the big money. The earlier ones were bad enough. Sheesh!

Has anyone won a lot of money on this show? I haven't seen it that much...there are certain things about it that drive me crazy...but from what I have seen it doesn't look like it's worth it. People are coming off looking very bad and possibly destroying their families.

I think the most I've ever watched anyone win is 100,000... They always walk away. I'm not sure though, I may have missed a show. I agree. They wouldn't want me, nothing good to give away. I was thinking what in the world could they possibly ask her now? Good grief! Her husband hugged her after the show, my fiance said he would have been long gone off of the stage way before that.

My fiance is convinced that the show is set up too! He can't believe anyone would seriously want to do that on national tv.

If she has no secrets she wouldn't make a good guest.......The dirtier the secrets the better chance to be on the show....

Its GOT to be a set up.. I remember seeing the commercials for it before it started and I watched ONE episode and thought how horrible!!! I keep missing it though! I dont think a show designed to tear people apart would be a hit if it were real do you? I would like to be a fly on the wall of their 'dressing room' after the show! Either they are laughing saying they fooled the audience, or they are sitting with a lawyer signing divorce papers!

I'm not sure how the contract works with this show, but I'd imagine its similar to American Idol. When you sign a contract to audition for American Idol, you basically sign your life away and say that you can't sue them, etc., and that if there is something weird about you they can point it out, and just things like that. So for a show like this, everyone involved probably has to sign something like that saying that the show won't be held liable for anything that may come out of it.
