I'm not sure how the contract works with this show, but I'd imagine its similar to American Idol. When you sign a contract to audition for American Idol, you basically sign your life away and say that you can't sue them, etc., and that if there is something weird about you they can point it out, and just things like that. So for a show like this, everyone involved probably has to sign something like that saying that the show won't be held liable for anything that may come out of it.
