| you should call dell. I think you are only going to be able to get one from them and not at a random store.

| I've gotten about 4 power cords for dell laptops on ebay in the past. They are a bit cheaper than buying directly from Dell. Just make sure you enter the correct model # in your search. Also, some sellers don't sell the entire cord--ya know how it comes in 2 parts--AC adapter and power cord? Make sure you order the part of the cord that you need if you buy from one of those sellers.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | is your laptop still under warrenty? when i had that problem i called dell and they sent me a new one. they can tell you which cord you need. the phone call of course was very aggrivating because you can barely understand them and they don't understand you...but that's dell for you... something else happend with my dell so i soon after fixed that problem.... ...i bought a mac book.

| Thanks guys! Because it isn't under warranty anymore I am going to check with eBay. And I know what you mean... Dell is the WORST with customer service.

| I've messed up a couple power cords (well foster puppy messed up one). I needed it right away, so I ended up going to Wal Mart and they have on for$60. The piece you plug into your computer in interchangable on it and it comes with 7 or 8 pieces so it will work with any computer.
