| My hubby is very funny when he buy Valentine gifts for me. He goes to the store and then decides what is to buy from that store instead of having something in mind and go searching for it. This year he got me 4 candle holders which I do not have any use for because we currently live in the in-law's basement. Good thing it came with some chocolates. I guess what I am trying to say is, as much as we might be dissapointed in what they buy, its only a day out of the year. Thinking of he does for me every single day that is the 364 days is what matters.

| My DH is the king of getting things I "need" ![]() One year he got me sweats and a tank top I'd been wanting since I was on a workout kick and at first I was like, jeeze it's Valentines Day lol. But then I realized that's a wonderful gift because he listens to the small conversations we have, remembers them, and wanted to give me something to motivate me to keep working out and get really healthy so all in all I saw it as a wonderful, thoughtful gift |

| We don't exchange gifts, but, the way I look at it, is it's another way for Hallmark to make some money...Just having my hubby is enough of a gift for me, and it's the same at Christmas..We have bought eachother gifts in the past, but, we both always go out and buy everything we need, when we want..My idea was to go out to Western Sizzlin tonight and use our coupon for a buy one, get one free... |

| My husband insisted on on exchanging gift after midnight last night. Nothing I could say would make him wait. Anyway I got some naughty word valentine candy and some other stuff I'm probably not allowed to mention from spencers. A rose dipped in 18kt gold(he's said so it will last forever) pair of earrings, and a Bose in ear headset. (Funny because I got him the same thing just different style). Was a little sad because we've only been married 1 1/2 years and were already buying each other the same gifts What will happen when we've been married 30 yrs

| I take the safe route...I send my husband emails of things I have had my eye on. This makes it easy for him (which he likes). This year he surprised me a bit. Bought me something that I had wanted for Christmas...a nice pair of Uggs. I bought him shoes, too! The first year we were dating we bought each other the SAME card. I guess great minds think alike! |

| I'm dying to know if you were right about your Valentine's day present? Did he get you weights from the sports store?
