Oh that poor horse! I do hope he heals nicely without any further problems.
Hopefully the owner of the dog will come threw and pay all expenses that
occur. I hope your son is feeling better also. I can't imagine the shock of seeing your pet or anyone's elses for that matter attacked by a vicious
dog.

What nasty nasty booboos that stupid dog left! (aurgh)

I hope all is well soon and that beautiful baby will be back to running and enjoying life again!

Thanks- she is at a wonderful vet...they are actually the vet's for the Budwieser Clydesdales!!

Trixie came home last night!! She needs alot of care for her wounds, but seems to be happy to be back home......

wow i'm shocked.. at least the owner did the right thing.. but to think he came ready to shoot it worries me.. that to me means there has been prior instances that this dog has done something like this before.. maybe not to a horse but to something.

My grandmother said she would have shot the dog herself. She's a huge horse finatic.. Has a ranch and everything.. Any dog comes at her horses like that she says you dont think you just act and she would have got a gun and shot the dog herself.. go grammys

Attached are some new pictures of Trixie! Her leg is healing very well! The picture is kanda' dark, but it is way better! Thanks for everyone's good thoughts! Kay

Poor horse, i cant imagine how frightened it was. I know that not all pits are bad but with the level of aggression that was fine tuned in that breed, why dont ppl stop breeding them and just let the breed die off? that may sound harsh, but there are hundreds of other breeds out there, and there are a few that give you the "look" of the pit-if thats what you want.

i love all dogs, but you have to wonder how far we are going to go, and how many people, kids and loved pets are attacked before we can say that maybe its just not a good breed. I dunno, just my 2 cents.
