My positive today is that I am SO close to being finished with a huge paper, the most complicated, rigid paper I've done so far. I will be glad when it's finished! :)

My other positive is that my semester long project (which the above paper analyzes) will be mostly done tomorrow. We're doing a huge education and training event and I'm presenting. Again, I'll be glad when it's over!

My last positive is that my family and I are throwing Mom a surprise "No more chemo" party tonight! :)

Angie, I can imagine the relief you must be feeling at coming so close to accomplishing such a huge educational project. I'm very happy for you....
But most of all for your celebration tonight. I have a huge lump in my throat right now thinking about this particular accomplishment your mother has completed. Hope you all have a wonderful time!

My positive is that I have an awesome wife who has done a TON of work on her big paper this week, and has made me very proud to be married to her!!

My positive for today is that, on Abby's first night at home, she slept right through the night with not one whimper! She went potty outside everytime, except one little accident :) She's doing so well! YEAH! I love her, I love her, I love her!! :cheer:

and also, today I went to a show my voice teacher was in. It was a beautiful show - The Secret Garden - I really enjoyed it. Tonight was its last night (its been playing for a month, and they've been rehearsing for 3 months) so the whole cast really gave it their all.

Monday is awesome, isn't she?! She edited a paper for me last semester. I might just have to PM her again and see if she has time to do another for me. :)

My positive is that my family had our Sunday dinner as usual and it's always lots of fun. My brother Randy (who has cerebral palsy) and my hubby sang Amazing Grace and it was the most touching thing you could ever imagine. My Randy is awesome! :)

Okay, so at first glance this will not seem like a positive, but read on...
Yesterday I came down with a terrible flu/virus/stomach eating bacteria thing and have been moving slow ever since. Then this morning I was heading down into the basement and for some odd reason I fell from the 5th floor from the bottom. I don't think I slipped, because I fell head first instead of butt first and the next thing I knew I was trying to pick myself up from our new concrete floor.
So here is my positive ..... NOTHING IS BROKEN! :D

I think my guardian Angel had been working overtime on me. LOL

I postively love when i see Memphis cuddling with my skinbaby im the morning when i get out of bed he lies with my oldest son and sleeps a lil longer and they both look like angels ...

I took Tucker for a good walk tonight. Its GORGEOUS outside. Finally, Spring! I love Spring. It totally washes away the gloomyness of winter. Its like starting over...a fresh start.

Its by one of my favorite singers (who happens to currently be 5 minutes from my house doing a concert :D It sold out too fast for me to get tickets though. Darn!) anyway, its so beautiful. She wrote it herself, the lyrics really spoke to me. They're so positive and uplifting.

My positive for the day is I filled out some of my graduation information papers for next semester!!! Im almost done!! :D

Positve (hopefully) for the day:

When we got home tonight from errands, the doorbell rang. It was a man claiming to have bought the house next door to us. Said he had gotten gas at the gas station about 5 blocks from here but didn't have his wallet, so the gas station was holding his keys and truck to tow if he couldn't come back with $$. He had walked down here to his new house (? don't really know why?) hoping to get his wife to meet him and take him back to the station and pay for gas. He wanted to borrow my phone. I stood outside with him and let him use my cell phone. Three numbers - no answers. There were about 150 additional facts and details in the story while he tried to convince him of who he was (good jobs at places we know for both he and his wife, etc.). We did finally let him in amid obnoxious barking dogs. Finally my husband drove him to the station and paid for his gas ($40!!). I am such a good-hearted person, but as I age I do get less gullible and a little less trusting.

We're just hoping he truly is going to be our new neighbor (well sort of; I'm afraid this ordeal will make us INSTANT BEST BUDDIES). Otherwise, we were just taken. But as I told my hubby.... if we were just scammed, being taken for $40 isn't the end of the world when we could have taken the chance (and rightfully so) to be complete jerks to our new next door neighbor. ...... as long as we were safe.


P.S. .... I just hope that he doesn't have kids like the ones that live in Megan's new neighborhood!! ;-)

My positive for today is that Angie got all of her papers turned in, and is now a significantly happier and less stressed wifey. Life is good!!

My positive is that Megan totally rocked at voice lessons today. She has an amazing talent and today I just sooo enjoyed sitting listening to her. I had to put my book down and pay attention!

Today is Thursday (aka my Friday)!!

My positive is that my mom totally just embarassed me....but in a good way. :)

As I read these positive posts this morning it just makes me feel so good.
Listed are acts of kindness and generosity, a mothers pride and love for her daughter and a husbands relief and happiness that some of the stress and strain on his wife has been lifted. This definitely is one of my favorite threads and the first place I visit when visiting this YT

My positive is that it is pouring rain and for the first time in months we do not have to be worried, or busy trying to dry a flooded basement.
Now on to replacing the leaking roof.... :eek:
