my positive is I had surgery a week ago last Friday...........and I feel a lot better this Friday........thank God! I just have to wait lab results to come back and then I will really have a reason to BE SUPER POSITIVE!!!:D

I am so glad that you are feeling better. My positive is that Mason, my 5 month old grandson is on his way to spend the day with Mimi...and all 3 of my granddaughters will be here soon too.

My positive for today is that the day has begun with the sun shining brightly, albeit cold. We plan on coloring some eggs and preparing for Easter Sunday.
It's a lovely Easter weekend.

My afternoon was amazing.

My best friends threw me a surprise birthday party. They've been planning it for MONTHS. My birthday isn't for almost 3 weeks, I was told that this was a surprise party for my one best friend Jessica (whose birthday is this Friday), but it turns out that Jessica and my other best friend Emily planned it for me, and told me it was for Jessica as a cover story. (could you follow that?) So when I got there everyone was hiding except for Emily. I was freaking out thinking that Jess would get there before everyone, then everyone jumped out and surprised me. I had NO clue. and it took me like 15 seconds to process that it was for me!

I felt so loved and I have the greatest friends in the world. <3

Forgot to add my positive. I spent the last two days w/ my half sister. We were adopted by different ppl (but in the same family... odd I know), but I'm so glad I get spend time w/ her, she's soooo much like me, yet so different. We are 8 yrs apart, but I treasure our time together.

My positive today is that Bren and I took Marty and Maddie on TWO walks. That's right, two! It was a gorgeous day and both the puppies were perfect little angels on their leashes. :) We were so proud of Madeline because today was the first day she didn't struggle and pull on her leash to try to get "ahead" of Marty. She stayed right at my feet! I was amazed and SO impressed! I just love my babies. Okay, I'll stop bragging now. :)

My positives for the day... my youngest is home from college. :cheer: Yeah, I miss her! She's growing up so nicely in college!

And...

At the athletic shoe store, she found a pair of $110 exclusive shoes on the clearance rack marked $19.99. Of course there was an issue and they said that they must have been marked wrong. I was so nice to the girl and told her that she really needed to sell those to me since they were marked that way and they couldn't determine why they thought that was wrong, but that I'd personally help her go through the boxes to pull the rest of them before someone else found them. We finally got them for $19.99 with no scene and her ending up apologizing to me. (I am a firm believer in not taking advantage of a situation, but the store marked them and no one knew what the problem was.)

My daughter said, "Don't worry mom, I was taking notes on how you handled that so nicely!" :D

Thats is great about the shoes :)

I'm glad to have been able to home with my family and friends for a little while. Also, I am very grateful that my husband just came back from Korea :) and will be home when I get there tomorrow :) :) !

I am glad to be able to wake up in the morning to doggy kisses on my face, feel the sun on my skin and the wind in my hair. I am glad to be able to breathe easily and that everyone in my family is happy and healthy!:D

My positive this morning is that the workers are finally done in our basement.
The jack-hammering was about to drive me insane and I was so worried about my fur-friends. I just knew that if it was bothering me so much that it had to be hurting them too. It is all done now and we just need to wait for the concrete to dry to be able to put everything back where it belongs.
No more flooded basement ! What a blessing ......

Oh, yes, many positive things. The weather is beautiful and I have hyacinths blooming. They smell wonderful - just like spring! The Bradford pear trees are blooming, too. There's nothing quite as beautiful as springtime in East Tennessee.
