| OYE...My cocker spaniel!!!!! this dog has a stomach of steel...I am so scared I am going to come home and she will be "gone". Yesterday, I woke up to a huge MESS!!!!! I have this chocolate that is supposed to be "healthy chocolate". It gives you lots of energy and is supposed to help you lose weight...and is 100% natural and safe. anyway...I have a ziplock baggie that I keep in my backpack full of these nuggest so I can give them to people and enjoy them myself well....I made her sleep in the living room that night because she just wouldn't go to sleep. I woke up to piles of poop all over my house...and chewed up, mangled chocolate wrappers all over the house. she had gotten INTO my backpack, pulled ONLY the ziplock baggie out...nothing else (and there is a LOT in there)...opened the baggie, took out about 20-30 of these nuggets, took them out of the wrappers, and helped herself to my chocolate. ALL DAY yesterday, she was sooooooo hyper and pooped everywhere. now, this is not the first time she has gotten into stuff like this. she has a nose for chocolate. she can find this stuff anywhere. now..I didn't just leave this stuff laying around...my backpack has 5 big pockets on it and this was in the biggest pocket along with tons of papers, my camera, my eyeglass case, some cords for my laptop, a couple of magazines....and she has never even shown an interest in this backpack. so I really thought nothing of it. it's always sitting by the couch and 9 times out of 10, it is unzipped. anyway, the vet told me what to look out for and said to bring her in today if I noticed certain things...but I am just shocked. she just amazes me. she is a dog to look for trouble...she will get up on my daughters night stand and find things to eat...chap stick, etc. Here is an example of some of the things she has "enjoyed" in the past: -an entire tube of ointment -entire containers of fish food (twice) -a chocolate candy bar that I had on the end table -a cup of decaf coffee that I had on the coffee table while I went potty -she got in the trash and ate a coffee filter (again, decaf)...we found it the next day in the form of a terd anyway..just venting

| OMG Mandee! I hope she's ok! It sounds like she can eat anything, so hopefully this won't phase her either-just keep an eye on her, and let us know how she's doing!

My cocker Tessa was really good about stuff like that - I don't think she ever even got into the trash or anything....She didn't even take food off the table if it was in her reach - but then she knew she'd always get some lol ....funny how they all have such different personalities I hope she's ok !!! |

| She sounds a lot like my cocker spaniel, Peppi. Maybe it is a cocker thing? I had a duffel bag that was zipped up and had a bag of home made brownies in it. We went out to eat for lunch and I came back and found the duffel bag unzipped and the bag holding the brownies chewed into pieces and all of the brownies gone. She bloated up real bad and I was so worried about her but the vet said to just keep an eye on her and what symptoms to look for. She was fine though. She never gets into anything and is not a chewer but she has a dangerous love for chocolate. She seems to be able to find any chocolate in the house, in fact she is the only dog in the house to have ever eaten chocolate, she just seems to know where it is and how exactly to get to it.

| Wow I hope she's ok. My step Mom had a cocker that would somehow get things off the counter like entire packs of bread, buns. She had to have her stomach pumped a few times cause all that bread would expand. My bf has a cocker too, she's bad about trash cans and anything left out.

| Sorry but I had to laugh. It reminded me of your Great Dane. He figured out how to get out of his crate (we started having to put a key lock on the crate) and on one of those days he got out, ate my eye glasses (case and all) two tubes of lipstick (he was sure to smear it all over the carpet first ) blush and an entire tube of Desitin (the thick pastie kind too!) What a gem!

| they run roughly $1 per square if you sign up to be a distributer (which is what I did JUST to get the discount) It's definitely cheaper than a cup of starbucks if you are using it for the energy factor. It's cheaper than most diet programs and is actually good for you. so I think they are worth it.
