She sounds a lot like my cocker spaniel, Peppi. Maybe it is a cocker thing?
I had a duffel bag that was zipped up and had a bag of home made brownies in it. We went out to eat for lunch and I came back and found the duffel bag unzipped and the bag holding the brownies chewed into pieces and all of the brownies gone.
She bloated up real bad and I was so worried about her but the vet said to just keep an eye on her and what symptoms to look for. She was fine though.
She never gets into anything and is not a chewer but she has a dangerous love for chocolate. She seems to be able to find any chocolate in the house, in fact she is the only dog in the house to have ever eaten chocolate, she just seems to know where it is and how exactly to get to it.
