I was on PC- heard something- it was thunder- then it started to pour! that went on for 15-20 min- we still have 3 inches of snow on the ground! Then it turmed to Ice- I mean more like marble size hail- it is a mess here- we have close to 2 inches of ice- I couldn't get online for a long time! It is very slick out! very slick! I was tired of snow- but Ice is worse! |

| No, we finally had a day with no new rain or snow or ice and it's above zero! Lovely, simply lovely! We're getting a couple more inches of snow tonight tho and then again tomorrow. Sorry you've had ice. I hate it too. It's so hard to walk on or drive on or have on your roof. Argh! |

| We had weird weather today too. It was beautiful when I got up at 6 a.m...freezing fog...ever seen that? I couldn't see across the lake but the fog had frozen so delicately on the trees...it was beautiful. The fog didn't lift for most of the day, had to go out of town about 2 p.m. and it was still foggy, headed home at about 4 and had tiny little balls of frozen rain hitting the truck. We also had thunder and beautiful bright pink and blue lightning through the fog...frozen rain turned to mist and then all rain...still several inches of snow on the ground and now it's freezing and slick...go figure! |

I grew up in Illinois and had never heard the term frozen fog..but, when I went home at Christmas, I finally found out what it was..you could hardly see a foot in front of you..really an eerie feeling | |

| Yep, it's strange and with freezing fog you can get black ice which is really dangerous. |

| Yep, frozen fog. We get that here too. It is beautiful but oh so dangerous! We've gotten it several times this winter during the warmer days in between the below zero days, but we usually have it in the early Spring. Today the snow and ice were melting but leaving a thin layer of frozen ice on the roads and walks. Not good driving conditions. |

| We have 12" of snow and now it's POURING rain. The weather warning said thunderstorms! Then it's supposed to freeze again and snow tomorrow night. The parking lots are all slushy and gross. We are worried about the turnout here for our local referendums tomorrow...
