| ![]() HELP! I've never had a mouse before. How can I get rid of this thing humanely, or is that even possible. It looks very fat, I'm scared it's gonna have babies. I"m so freaked out that I"m sweating! Any ideas?

| ![]() I would get a trap that you could trap them in then let them go outside but not to scare you but usually, where there's one... there's others. |

| ![]() I hate to tell you this but if you let it go out side I'm afraid it may come right back in... Also, be careful there are no mouse dropping where your babies can get to them. Lepto is an illness that they can get from mice! ![]()

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | ![]() From what I've been told and from experiance....sorry to say......you never just have one mouse....if there is one, he's most likely brought friends. We tried traps without much luck then tried the wall plug ins that let out a sound only rodents can hear (and don't like). They've worked like a charm for us........haven't seen one since.

| ![]() When I lived in NY this happened to me.......I was sitting in my kitchen talking on the phone when all of a sudden I had this "someone is staring at me " feeling. Well I look down and made eye contact with a freakin mouse that was staring at me from under my fridge. If I didnt mention it before, I HATE mice, I really truly have a phobia!!! Anyway, it was like 1-2am and I ran out of the house in my PJ's ran to my car and drove like a mad woman to the only supermarket that was open at that time. Got to the trap aisle, and no lie, I just took my arm and swept all of the glue trap off the shelves into my shopping cart!!!! I spent freaking 75.00, they were 2.50 each!!!. I got home and just placed all the traps alongside all the walls in my apartment. I had enough to cover the whole apartment. Needless to say by 7am that sucker was caught and I sent him down the incinerator with all 75.00 worth of traps!!!! I say all this to say....you'll get him, LOL

| ![]() Just my experience on the plug ins. We had some. Seemed to work. Never bothered the dogs. Around the same time, our cat stopped coming upstairs - acted totaly weird. I thought she was getting old (about 14 then) and didn't like the stairs. Then one day, out of the blue, she came up and was normal. Well, it took a while to figure out, but 2 + 2 = we unplugged the plug-in to vacuum!! When we plugged it back in, she shot downstairs like someone shocked her. .... so they do bother some animals. Just don't take months to figure it out like we did. Poor baby!!
