| You never know what someone is going through in their life. We all have occurrences that we don't share openly. Reading a few words in a poem such as what is written here can help bring hope back into the heart of someone who might not be feeling hopeful. It may be thankfulness into the heart of someone that only sees the dark side of life. I think this is called looking favorably on those things that are positive in your life and giving yourself the benefit of doubt. Jennette, in re-reading your poem, it was more meaningful than it was on my first read through. Thanks for sharing it with a kind and caring heart!

| That was inspirational! I can see tagging the threads - that way I know when there's something special put on! It's so easy to forget to be grateful, everytime I look at Lida Rose my heart fills with simple gratitude for all the things i've been given and I can't help but smile and think that God is in His heaven and all is right with the world!

| Thank you for sharing that. I remember my dad sending that poem or maybe it was very similar to that one. He suffered through multiple strokes and complications from diabetes and yet was always hopeful. He has passed on now but it really is important to treasure each day and the people you come in contact with. We can make this world better by just being kind to each other.
