You know something Kate might be a bit of a yeller but I respect that. I have a husband and three kids and I can blow up too.

While the Duggars seem like a nice family...they seem a bit too nice and too untrue to me. Come now you guys have children....you know you lose it once in a while and hollar at them. In the Duggar house it's always peaches and roses...never seen them yell. The only thing that made them seem as though they were not some made up family is when they spoke of the daugther that was banished from the house because she was a bit different.

HAHA! The Duggars totally creep me out! They're all clean, their house is clean, they all help clean the house. It's a little too perfect. lol. The family I really like is the other one that has 16 kids, but all single births and no twins. They look like a real family...and their house is far from clean! :)

I'll have to admit...I have a problem with the Duggers. OK>>>> she is the one who wanted to have all these kids. Now she has the other kids raising their younger sibblings, cleaning the house, cooking the food, doing the laundry.....so what does she do...sit back and get busy having more babies.

I just feel like she don't raise those children. They raise each other.

Just how I feel.

I saw both shows last night and I loved them both....as for the Duggars....I am amazed at how well run that household is...on last night show they took a family trip in a Motor home for a month....Oh my God!! I can't run t Walmart with my 2 children with out a fight or some kind of whining and they went in a motor home with 16 children. All the kids are so nice and respectful. I think that 98% of the homes in the world could use some lessons from the Duggars. I don't think there is anything wrong with these kids and all the hard work they do....Kids these days don't do enough work so therefor they have respect for nothing. My lord...my daughter complains if I tell her to wash her plate after supper...please! I have total respect for the Duggars and the morals and values that they are placing in their family....if they want more kids I say go for it...they are doing a great job and they are making it work...jmo

I am with you on that. I can understand having the kids do chores but it totally feels like they are not kids and are raising each other.

The household just seems too perfect to me. Sorry I have three children, a husband, zoey and our cat april...our house is never totally spotless. There are arguments and children fighting...it happens and is real life.

You're thinking of the Jeub Family...they basically disowned their eldest daughter because she didn't believe in their life style and she had a baby out of wedlock.

Yep she was real different. Wanted to be like the other kids and not live the "Christian" way that the parents were raising them.

I've seen an episode or 2 of Jon & Kate.....I like the show, but I don't like Kate. She is not a nice person, IMO. She's SO mean to her hubby, and he just takes it. I feel bad for him. But they do do a good job with their kids.

as for the Duggars...OMG. I saw the first episode of that show....I'm NEVER watching it again. They are too weird. That family is so fake its beyond control...and if they're not and that's really how they act...then that's weird. No parents could have 16/17 kids and not lose it once in a while. And I think that's way too many kids. When the kids need to start taking care of each other to get the attention, etc. they need, its time to stop. If they don't believe in BC then they need to stop having sex!

I was going to say...the mother in the Duggars house seems very patient, with that many children. Even the children seem so well behaved and even help with cooking etc. at such a young age! I guess it makes them grow up fast! They had a daughter that left the house? I missed that...did they kick her out or something? What is up with their wardrobe? Are they Amish?

My first thoughts were that they're conservative Mormons, but my mom thinks they're Amish. *shrugs*

They are "Christians". The daughter that was kicked out of the house was from when she was young...not his daughter but he raised her from very very small. As she grew up she felt that things were too stringent and she wanted to be like other kids. Well she started rebelling and doing her thing. They told her to stop or she would have to face the consequences of her actions. They thought that her actions and behaviour was not good for her siblings to see so they put her out. Well she kept on doing teen things while living on her own and became pregnant. She is a single mom raising her baby on her own.

The clothes selected are to protect their modesty. She said she wanted to highlight their faces and not anything else. Most is home made and a lot of things they get are from donations that they get.

Cara is so cute on Jon and Kate. She is so sweet to the others, the one i saw last night she was trying to help Collin get up and scratching his back, etc. I can see Mady being jealous most of the time, she seems like a real brat. I don't think Kate is that mean, he is mean to her too sometimes. I think they are just like a real couple, they argue once in a while.
