| Can you take him to a local aquarium to see if there's something that can be done for him? Maybe he just needs some medication or a change in environment... |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Gosh, if he appears to be suffering - I wish you'd just help him move on. Otherwise, perhaps buy some medicine from the fish store? If it were me, I couldn't let anything linger in a state where suffering might be happening. I know you don't intend to be mean...but...suffering is suffering, no matter how small the creature.

| I have a pond in the summer months and always bring my fish in over the winter,I do not keep them in a tank but in like a betta dish (the big ones) I change water 2 times a week and only 2 fish to a bowl. They get so huge over the summer I hate to not keep them.I like the big black ones with the bulging eyes the best Is your tank clean, maybe you need to take out half the water and refill it and put in a complete conditioner ( it will get rid of or reduce odor and organic slime and just make your tank a better enviorment if used weekly),it will provide a clean wholesome enviorment for them,or take him out and put him in a bigger jar with clean water till he revives or expires.(need to treat the water before you put him in it) I have keep goldfish for 3 years before they have expired. DO you have a under ground water filtration ? |

| I had a goldfish 1 time and he kept jumping outta the bowl, and I always seemed to be there just to save it. Well 1 day I came in and noticed it was missing. "were du go" I was saying to myself. I look behind the radiator and there it was. I run some water on it and it came back to life. Well after a while it started decaying from the tail upwards, honestly it was pretty disgusting, even my kids used to say to me, oh mammy please flush it. And to be honest I didnt have the heart, it was still swimming around the bowl. Well 1 day I just couldnt look at it no more, and I got it and had to put it in the bin. I'll tell you what, I'll never get a glodfish again. NEVER.
