Yes, as would I, but the difference is would you be letting your 13 year old daughter post the incident on a public forum or would she be sitting next to you in your living room filing a police report?? With this girl being so young I dont think she sees the "Big Picture." I know she was scared, anyone would be no matter their age, but she didn't see the importance of calling the police right away. She should have walked into BK and asked to use their phone to call 911. If she was my daughter, I would have followed that car until I got a plate number and a description of the creep. Instead, her father drove home and lead the creep to their front door!!!!!

I would be staked out on my lawn!!! I am really scared for her

REMEMBER SHE CAME HERE FOR HELP NOT NEGATIVE OPINIONS. Though it is a scary situation and yes her father should have done something else. But she is a little girl coming to her YT family.

I would file a police report next time you see him, if you see him following call the cops immediately and tell them you have seen him before. Be carreful and always be with someone, never by yourself..

LOL, that was me. I wasn't saying you, personally should have compassion. You said the reaction she got was better than being ignored and I said an even better reaction would have been to show kindness and compassion. I just meant the whole thread in general- sorry if it looked like I was singling you out.

Oh my I just saw this, so glad you are ok, I will talk to the police and give the descriptions of everything even his car etc. Who knows maybe this guy have a record allready and you can save some future victim

I'm so glad you are O.K! It's definitly a scary world, with a lot of creeps. Don't get upset about what people posted, I think most were worried and sometimes when your worried and you say/type something, others may take it in a way that you didn't mean it to be taken. Everyone's just worried for your safety. I hope you don't encounter this creep again, and the police do catch him and he's prevented from trying to take any other child.

Then when we got there, we were looking around, almost paranoid, and scared of everyone (the man who stopped by us was old, and looked innocent) . halfway through eating, she said 'Kelli, stay callm ... the guy is sitting at the table in the back.' sure enough, i tried to stay calm, looked towards the back subtly, and he was sitting there ... staring at us . i turned around calmly, and started BAWLING . i was frantic again . i called my daddy to pick us up cause im scared of walking on the streets again so soon(please dont call me wierd for that) . So, we walked out front of BK, and sat on the curb (we were facing the shopping center) . We looked inside burgerking to see what he was doing, AND HE WASNT THERE !! we were crying cause he could have been anywhere . he got in his car and was just circling around the center . my daddy came to get us and we told him the story. we got back to my house and ran inside to make sure he wasnt watching us . she's sitting right here next to me looking out the window . and every so often, he drives by .

WE ARE TERRIFIED

If someone is following you.Dont go behind a building.Go where there are people then find someone to call the police. Also have a cell phone with you at all times.You were very luck this time.

My first thoughts are he is a pervert and wants to post your pictures online for all the perverts to see. If you had reported it than maybe he would have been caught with pictures of other girls in his camera. Then they really could have prosecuted him.

But you are young and did not know...maybe next time huh?...but lets hope you do not have a next time.

Okay my opinion is that you should have immeidately called your father and/or police when you got to Burger King if not sooner. and/or you should have told someone at Burger King what had happened, especially when you noticed the guy sitting in the resteraunt. Then you NEVER should have gone outside to sit and wait for your dad, especially since this guy was out following you guys. You should have stayed inside where there was other people to be safe.

I hope you were able to get a description of the car and the license plate. Your father should have called the police from Burger King.

Be careful, sounds like this guy is a predator.

A cell phone is a perfect idea. You can get ones that only dial 911 and your home and there not real expensive.
