| Tonight's Dinner We are ordering Chinese takeout tonight. Conner has his surgery tomorrow, so I don't much feel like cooking. I know he will be fine, but he can't have anything to eat after 6, so we will eat early (because he always has to have a piece of forturne cookie). What's everyone else doing for dinner?

| First let me just wish Conner good luck tomorrow and we will keep him in our prayers for a speedy recovery. We are having home made Turkey Pot Pie which I made yesterday, so that I wouldn't have to miss any of the big game today! GO PATRIOTS ! |

| Good luck tomorrow..... God speed. I made a rump roast, baked potatoes, gravy, creamed corn, baby carrots....maybe later we'll have desert. We're too full right now to move.... The roast was so tender you could cut it with a fork.

| Thank you for your well wishes. Everything sounds soooo good. I will keep in mind for the week (will be on vacation after tomorrow - to spend with Conner). Tomorrow I am putting a pork loin in the crock pot. We are going to have pulled pork sandwiches and soup. It is going to be cold here all week.

| I season with salt, pepper (lots), dry onion soup, garlic powder, can of creamed celery soup and a can of cream of onion soup (do not dilute) poured over the roast. (Fatty side up). I use a old fashioned cast iron skillet with lid. Most people call it a chicken fryer..... Cover with lid, and cook at 325 for about 3 1/2 hours....add water if necessary.....Makes an excellant gravy.
