Thank goodness there wasn't any serious damage, and they found the deer to put it out of its suffering. I've had a deer broad side the back end of my first car, weirdest thing too it was laying in the street after it hit me and when I was on my way back in the opposite direction it was gone.

Oh I am so glad your okay your car can be fixed. My Husband has a courier company and I used to drive a route at night for him and I would see deer on the medium by the interstate. Its scared me to death that one might run out in the road sometime and I might hit one. A guy died here when he hit one and it came up thorugh his windshield

After my husband saw the one I hit he was VERY thankful the impact was where it was on my car ... it was so big he said if it would have flipped up & hit my windshield i probably would have been either seriously injured or dead... SCARY... He just told me back in November to start really watching for the deer running. I drive a 11 mile or so stretch of highway, wooded on both sides & a river and I always try to watch the sides but this time... I just didnt see her. I was so glad they found her and was able to put her down so she wouldnt suffer anymore. I hope she didnt have a baby somewhere

You're very lucky! My husband used to hit at least one a year where we lived.

They start moving at dusk and dawn and they're there before you know it. I've come close a couple of times, but I've been lucky so far.

I am sorry about your car, i had the same happen to me, exept i drive a Truck, The deer was down , flopped all over the place , jumped up and ran off and never saw it again...As long as you are ok and not hurt. I felt realy bad for the deer !

So glad that you are OK but wow look at the damage to your car...hard to believe that they can do that much damage just by running into your car. Cars can be fixed but oh so glad that you are OK.
