| Oh no I feel bad for both involved, but I really hope the original owner gets his dog back. I know if it were me, I'd be absolutely devestated! |

| I can understand both people involved. I can't imagine having a dog a year then the original owner showing up and wanting it back, but on the other had, I know if I lost any of my dogs and found them later on I know I would want them back badly!

| I hope I dont get blasted for this.... I think he should stay put. He's used to his new home now...it must have been so confusing for him, what he went through...wouldnt it be more harmful for him to be moved yet again??? I think the original owner should step back (assuming the current owner is a good owner). jmo |

| what a sad story. The neighbor stole the dog because she did not want him to breed her? What nerve. I definitely feel the original owner should get his beautiful husky back. But I do feel bad for the 2nd owner. He loves the dog also. Sounds like the decision King Solomon had to make with the surviving baby!

| I agree. It was not his fault that she ended up with another family. The woman who stole her should go to jail.

| I feel that the original owner should get her back. I feel for the other guy but if I were him I would have to feel bad about having a stolen dog and knowing now that she was being looked for all this time.. Poor Ginger.. |

So, I do hope the original owner gets his dog back. He obviously loves her very much to go through this.

| I would like to know how many times she was bred to make the neighbor want to take her out of that environment? Or what other factors made her do this. While this is just an emotional question, I am sure she will be returned to the original owner as animals are property and are governed by this. This is why backyard puppy mills are returned some of dogs even if the dogs lived in lousy situations. They are property, plain and simple and it won't matter if she is happier in her new home.

I agree it does not give someone the right - it is against the law but you are all assuming this guy loved this dog. Why? Because he continued to look for her? Maybe it is his ego saying "I am going to get that dog back no matter what". Maybe he wants her back as he could sell her for $$$ even if she is spayed. I don't have answers to any of this but I was still curious about the neighbor. I am sure she knew she was stealing personal property - what drove her to this? Maybe she wants all dogs spay/neutered? Maybe it broke her heart knowing this beautiful dog was only being used to breed over and over again. I would also like to know the timeline on all of this and how did they find out the neighbor took the dog. It has been over a year but has the original owner been fighting to get the dog back the whole time? or did he just find out? How did he find out? Was a reward offered? Would you all think it is a good idea to return a dog to an original owner if the dog lived in a bad situation? Not that it really matters as again the dog is personal property and unless they can prove abuse the dog will be returned. Just questions I have after watching the video.

And no, I wouldn't want the dog going back to bad conditions, but that's the law to decide, not us.
