| I raise Miniature Horses and train them to drive, raise performance quarter horses. I enjoy sewing unique personalized and embroidered items for my family of four Yorkies -- quilts, collars and leashes, coats and "t's" and bake them yummy Yorkie-sized tiny treats. After I got over the Beanie Baby craze I decided that collecting stuff was way too much work, so I don't "collect" anymore. |

| I collect odd green glass items, Political pins (campaign) and my most interesting, I think, is that I collect different editions of the book The Catcher in the Rye. I have 12 different ones to date. I haven't been actively looking since I am broke My hobbies are shopping for myself, Stewie and my newborn nephew and sleeping as much as possible I got Stewie into sleeping, too.

| I collect miniature glass figurines, shot glasses, frogs, and Cinderella stuff. I like to collect things...so I guess that qualifies as a hobby. School and debate are the only other hobbies I really have time for

| I play the piano, read a lot of different things, and sew a lot. I am very interested in painting and want to take some classes soon. But MOSTLY I play with my kids and dogs. I love vintage and antique things! Specifically pink depression and carnival glass, linens, perfume bottles, jewelry, raggedy anne dolls, the list goes on and on. I love finding old stuff and researching it to figure out how old it is and what design it is. |

| I have two saltwater fish tanks. Does any one have saltwater fish hobby? When I was younger, and when my vision was intact, I used to do counted cross stitch work on linen. That probably hurt my vision, but maybe some other time, I'll do smaller projects.

| collecting How interesting is this thread... I gave most of my collections to my daughter when I moved to FLorida. I still collect miniature teddy bears. I am a bit sick of owning alot of STUFF!! I will buy anything Yorkie if it is different. I collect old and new Yorkie story books. BUT..my favorite pass time is finding furniture and junk at flea markets, yard sales and on the side of the street and making it new again. I found a bamboo chair last month by a dumpster..and now it is a treasure to own, beautiful....my husband refuses to stop when I see something tossed out..he is embarassed by me. He says.."if you want a chair, I will buy you one"...he totally does not get it. I found a Yorkie tapestry and made two big pictures from it..it is great fun. |
