If you're into that kind of thing. There is an extremely moving book about a boy with Autism--written from his point of view, called "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night time" and it is really really good. If you read that, you'll feel like you can understand the world through their eyes--as they see it.

Thanks for sharing. My friend's son has mild autism. I'll make sure she knows about these books and read them myself also.

Read the book, then saw the movie... both were"ok".. Nothing extraordinary.

i read the book a while ago and was excited to see the movie when it came out. However i thought the movie sucked LOL the book is much better.

I read it a while back and meant to see the movie but never did. It is a really disturbing book and a little depressing but I did like it. Does that make any sense?

I've read both books mentioned and seen the Running With Scissors movie.

I looooved Running wtih Scissors the book. I'm a huge literary buff and love everything from classics to modern "twisted" stories!

I wasn't a HUGE fan of "The Curious Incident..." But each to his own
