There is an extremely moving book about a boy with Autism--written from his point of view, called "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night time" and it is really really good. If you read that, you'll feel like you can understand the world through their eyes--as they see it.
Thanks for sharing. My friend's son has mild autism. I'll make sure she knows about these books and read them myself also.
