I know what you mean..I'm a big cry baby too. IDK why. Like when i was a little girl i used to cry in school sometimes if i got in trouble or missed my mom. Even now sometimes i cry for no reason lol but i def. do it less |
I used to get my feelings hurt so easily as a child. I cried for an hour because one of my brothers friends called me specs when I first got glasses. I have ALWAYS cried at every little thing. In the church where I grew up they had "alter calls" where they would sing a really beautiful song and ask sinners to come down and pray for forgiveness at the alter. Well of course everyone thought I was a terrible sinner because I would cry listening to the music then cry because people at the alter were crying. They hammered at me that I was "under conviction". LOL |
I've always been a cry baby, crying over big or little things, but since my Mom died, I cry so much of the time. I know I need to get back on antidepressants. Hugs to all of you! |
Oh Connie, I thought I would never stop crying whenever I thought of my Dad. He was my rock and whenever I needed to sort out right from wrong I would imagine what he would think of it. He was great. I am tearing up right now thinking about him and he has been gone since 1999. Sometimes I think there are certain pains that just don't heal but the get easier to deal with. I must confess to everyone that I am on Lexipro and have been for a while now. |
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Out Pastor told me that musicians were really sensitive because they had to be to be able to feel the music they sing or play. I am the organist at our church and when I play or sing sometimes tears just flow. But, have you ever seen a man thats real sensitive like a woman? My husband used to have tears stream down his face when he told me he loved me. Music, movies also effect him. If we have a disagreement about something and make up he's the same way. I had rather see someone with feelings than someone cold. Also, he is a leftie. I can do things with both hands. |

But I can't write with the left, not too well anyhow. |
Can ANYONE give me a suggestion as to HOW to NOT cry when I'm mad? |
What if you bite the inside of your lower lip real hard? Pinch yourself. Snap yourself with a rubber band (that you keep on your wrist at all times). Deep Breath. Hard to think of all those things to do when one is mad though. I hope someone else has different suggestions, these are just what popped into my head right now. |
I cried the other day when I got my Harley...And not because I was sooo happy (which I was), but because I felt bad for taking him from his Mommy... She started crying, and there I went too! It was supposed to be a happy day for me, and there I was crying...because I felt bad! |
Wow, I didn't realize there were so many criers out there like myself. I hate the fact that I can't even argue my point without crying. I don't think I'm right brained though (I love math). It was always my favorite subject and my major in college. My family just thinks I'm very sensitive and I very seldom get depressed. I can't tell you how many times I've been caught at work teary eyed from reading stories on here. I'm just relieved to see that I'm not alone. |
Oh yeah, we know all there is to know about the cryin game!:cry8: (Somebody ought to write a song.):note2: :note2: |
It's GREAT to cry! Just let it all out whenever! :D |
