| BBQ Pork for sandwiches 3 pounds boneless pork ribs 1(18oz) bottle bbq sauce pour beef broth in crock pot, add ribs cook on high 4-6 hours till meat shreads easily. remove meat shread with fork. pre-heat oven to 350 put meat in pan with bbq sauce bake for 30 minutes. * or you can drain crock pot put meat back in with bbq sauce and cook on low for 1-2 hours -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scalloped Potatos and Ham 3 pounds potatos, peeled and thinly sliced 2 cups shredded cheese 1/2 cup minced onion 2 cups chopped ham 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup milk 1/2 tsp Garlic powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper place potatos in slow cooker. in medium bowl combine cheese, onion and ham mix well. mix in with potatos. using same bowl mix soup and milk. season with salts, pour evenly over potatos. cook on high for 5-5.5 hours! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- chicken and dumplings 4 skinless boneless chicken breasts or thighs 2 tbs butter 2 (10oz) cans cr mushroom soup 1 small onion diced 2 (10oz) refrigerated biscuit dough or frozen dumplings, or bisquick made dumplings which ever you prefer. Place chicken butter and soup and onion in slow cooker fill with enough water to cover cook for 5-6 hours on high add dumplings or biscuits cook for 30 more minutes or until done! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pork Chops 4 pork chops 6 potatos sliced 10 3/4 can cr mushroom soup 1 bag onion soup mix water brown pork chops both sides till brown, transfer to crock pot add potatos pour soup over top add enough water to cover everything cook on high 6-8 hours --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chunky Beef Vegetable Soup Recipe (Crockpot) 3 c vegatable juice 2 c hot water 1 lb beef stew cut in cubes 8 c frozen mixed vegetables 2 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed 1 sm onion chopped 1/4 c ketchup 3 tbs beef-flavored instant bouillon 1/2 tsp pepper por the vegatable juice and water into the slow cooker add beef vegatables,ketchup, bouillon and pepper; stir gently. place lid on cooker. cook on low 8 to 9 hours ir on high for 4 to 5 hours until beef is tender. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Last edited by YorkieShadow; 01-10-2008 at 06:10 PM. |

| I make salasa chicken all the time. Just put frozen skinless boneless chicken breasts in the crockpot dump salsa over it (I usually use hot salsa - because it gets deluted with the water from the chicken). I cook it all day on high then shred up the chicken and used it for a lot of things, make burrittos, tacos, nachos, whatever. I also make this and use it in my enchilladas. Very yummy and smells so good when it is cooking!

| I made this over the weekend: 2 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 soupcan milk 1 package Stovetop chicken flavor 1 2/3 cup warm water Place the chicken in the crockpot, mix the soup and milk and pour over the chicken. Pour the Stovetop over all this and then pour the water over all. Cook on low all day.
