| ![]() So tell me. Is sweet tea just regular tea with a lot of sugar in it or what? At Sam's they were giving out samples of some new kind of bottled "sweet tea." It didn't taste any different to me except too sweet for my taste. I would imagine it's not like the real thing though. ![]() If you were isolated in the wilderness, how would you get your supply of your two favorite? Plane drops???? ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() I have had that brand of sweet tea but i am just not a fan of bottled tea. I dont like liemon in my sweet tea either. It really irritates me that they just assume I want lemon. I can deal with it haning off my glass, but it reaaaaaaaaaaaallly irritates me when they drop it in my glass. I dont care for the lemon taste, but I really dont want some e.coli infested piece of lemon floating in my tea! NOthing like a good homemade glass of sweet tea....except hot crispy okra right out of the fryer! ![]() |

| ![]() I'm with "y'all". How about that accent MN? ![]() ![]() I love Liptons Cold Brew, strong with sugar, no lemon. WITH fried okra.

| ![]() I learned to eat okra fried in a frying pan. slice the okra and some onion. Fry in a bit a oil (not deep fat fried) Once the okra was turning brown it meant it was done. When you take if off the heat you crumble crackers (the rectangular butter ones, not saltines.)into it. The cracker soak up what litte oil was there and also keeps the okra from being slimey (I know that does make is sound so good) We kids would fight over who got the okra (7 kids in my family, so we had to argue over all of the good stuff!) |

| ![]() If I were stranded in the wilderness....as a test of survival, I would ask that my fried okra and sweet tea be dropped shipped to be or gotten to me in any fashion, but those are the two things I would require. And I'd be all set!!! |

| ![]() Maybe they should make "Got Okra?" T-shirts...they could be green with yellow words in a "slimy" looking font, LOL!

How long is your row? I can't believe you have so much up already - it just turned warm enough here to plant things without having to worry about them freezing!

Really??? Can I ask which city it was that he was mayor of? LOL - that is funny that people didn't know what it was. My brother has grown it in his garden before. I asked him to grow some for me this year... ![]() Yes, the frozen chosen LOVE all sorts of foods. (at least us adventuresome ones) Just don't ever try to get me to eat lutefisk. YUCK.
