and I bought some whole okra today ,, gonna boil it up for supper tonight, and then i went and FORGOT to do so!!! geesh!!!

Some of my okra plants are doing ok and others aren't. I planted some more in other little planter thingies to see how they do. They may not be getting enough/right kind of light.:(

Well, if they don't grow well enough to transplant outside, I'm hoping I will be able to find plants to buy come planting season.

I hope the rest of you appreciate what you have!!!!!:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

well,, its Boiled OKRA tonight!!! lol,, and i hope to get my okra planted next weekend when we go home again,, Easter weekend DH planted like 6 acres of watermelons!!! :happyboun now to get my peas, okra, corn and onions all planted!

SIX acres of watermelon????? Holy smokes. That is a lot of watermelon. Do you sell it to stores or eat it all yourself?:rolleyes: :D

LOL - you forgot again???? Sounds like something I would do.

If you have a juicer, watermelon juice is really good - either alone or mixed with other juices.:thumbup:

well,, i've never tried juicing a watermelon,, though we did dehyrdate some,, its good,,, just plain watermelon, nothing added,, i love the juice i scoop out of the watermelon

sure hoping ours do well this year,,,and ya know,, i still forgot to cook that okra last night,, had company come in unexpected,,lol

When you juice watermelon, you use the rind, too. That's where lots of good vitamins and stuff are.

Dang. Now I'm craving watermelon.:eek:

I have been feeling really different lately. Not really down, but not myself.
The it occurred to me when I saw the post! I was just had OTW...OKRA THREAD WITHDRAWAL!!!
