No, it's not quite as bad as it sounds.

It's just not chicken gumbo

Without that little pod.

It's not fair that the poor

lady's-finger

Should be viewed

As a food

Guess what I just did???????

I planted okra seeds.:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: (inside of course :rolleyes: )

I figure by the time warm weather hits us, they will be ready to plant outside. That is if I can keep them alive. That is if they start to grow.:cool: :D

I suppose I will have to post pics when/if they start to grow.

Man, I'm looking forward to fresh okra. There's a vegetable stand in town that'll have okra from another state in a couple of weeks
