I FINALLY GOT TO TRY FRIED OKRA!!!!!!!!!!! You would not believe where.... at my favorite Chinese buffet. :lol tears:lol tearsI asked an employee what it was (just to be sure) and he said he thought it was deep fried green beans. :yelrotflm:yelrotflmOk, I may not have eaten deep fried okra before, but I know the difference between okra and green beans!!! It was SO good. Of course it could have been heated up more but still... I FINALLY got a taste! I feel like I am part of the REAL club here now....:D:cool: |

Welcome to the Real Okra Club. It is yummie stuff!!!!!!!! |
Now I want some MORE!!!!!:D:D:rolleyes: |
That's too funny. You want Okra? Just go to your local Cracker Barrel, they're everywhere and they ALL sell Okra! Some Church's Chicken sell Okra on their menu too.....let's see who else?.....that's all I have for now. I tend to just cook it myself! Oh, go to your local grocery store's frozen veggie section and you should find battered okra. Take it home and cook it in like 4 minutes, just be sure when you take it out to put it in a bowl or plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. SOOOOOooooooooo GoOd! ;) |
I havent had Okra in a long time. |
 Go out an' get some! :p |
