| Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | heheheheh....seriously, it was the best OKRA I've had in a long time. Not overly cooked, not greasy (*gack*), not too breaded! PERFECT. I didn't have the nerve to tell my friend we have a whole thread on here devoted to it! LOL

| I saw breaded everything in the frozen section. Seriously, almost anything you could think of..... except okra. I was going to ask someone but I had Kaya with me in her bag and I didn't want to get busted. |

| When I was a kid, my mom would slice up fresh okra, then roll it in cornmeal and fry it with a little onion. OhMyGosh it was SOOO good. No thick breading to cover up that fresh okra taste..Yummmm. That was at least 35-40 years ago

| "Song to Okra" by Roy Blount Jr. String beans are good, and ripe tomatoes, And collard greens and sweet potatoes, Sweet corn, field peas, and squash and beets -- But when a man rears back and eats He wants okra. Good ole okra Oh wow okra, yessiree, Okra is okay with me ... It may be poor for eating chips with, It may be hard to come to grips with, But okra's such a wholesome food It straightens out your attitude ....

| These are the things that okra does to you if you eat it. Please it puts hair on you where you don't hair to grow. OKRA IS STINKING, NASTY.
