When I went to the grocery store tonight, I saw a bag of frozen breaded okra big enough to feed the multitudes!! I swear, it would take hours to fry all of that okra, but I could probably eat it all by myself.

Are you TRYING to be mean???? If the bag is that big, you could ship it up here... it's cold enough that it would stay frozen. It's only supposed to get about 13 below zero or so tonight.

Or, maybe I should check my local grocery and see if they carry it... DUH.

I just found this thread - where has it been hiding?!

I LOVE fried breaded okra! But not slimy okra in other dishes - ick!
And I like breaded fried tomatoes and breaded fried egg plant and breaded fried mushrooms, and breaded fried onions and probably breaded fried anything.

I bet you could get some at Byerly's or Lunds if you have one of those nearby!
