When you boil unbreaded okra, it gets slimy. The best okra is breaded and fried with a little salt sprinkled on it. Just like making french fries!

I dip a lot of stuff in ranch...

I used to work at a BBQ restaurant and that's how we served our okra

Holy Okra! This is the longest darn thread I've ever seen about ....

Okra!! I can't believe I'm just seeing this.

I used to love fried okra as a kid but now I just can't eat it. Its just way too slimmy

for me. The next time I go to the farmers market I'll buy a huge box and send everyone some.
