Stomach Virus? Does anyone have any suggestions or remedies on how to get over the stomach flu? I can't hold anything down. This has been the case since around 11 PM last night. I've tried some left over prescription Phenergan, but it comes back up before it can do its job. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! J

I use Cola Syrup. You can get it at Walgreen's in the pharmacy by the other stomach remedies but it's probably available in other stores too. It's in a small glass bottle with a tanish label. You put 2 tablespoons over a little bit of crushed ice and take small sips until it's gone...it works for me. Good luck...I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry you're sick My kids will get these stomach bugs from school & daycare and share them with the rest of the family. My doctor always says do not eat or drink anything for three hours after vomiting. She said something about it makes the stomach spasm and causes vomiting again. These things just have to run their course, hopefully it will be a short lived bug. Hope you feel better soon! Pam
