I'm sorry you have such a hole in your heart right now. It sounds like you know this is the best thing, but it just can't help hurting so much . I'm so sorry for your pain. Try to take comfort in the knowledge that Woda is in a great home. Only time will help ease the pain. I"m so sorry you are hurt right now but think about the joy that old man is getting from your pup this is probley what that old man needs to keep going is to have something to love ,after losing his wife and his dog ,in time you will know in your heart it was the right thing to do .

I'm sorry you're hurting so badly You did a wonderful thing when you handed over your baby to the man who lost his wife.

When my husband died I was lost. My house became where I slept, not my home. It was big, empty, and hollow.

When I got Lucy, I began to live again. That furry little creature helped me thru the worst time of my life. She cried when I left for work and greeted me with kisses when I came home.

I can't tell you how many nights I cuddled her and cried myself to sleep.

Believe me, I don't think I would've made it without her. You've given that man a reason to get up in the morning and something to look forward to during the day.
