|  Congratulations! I think you did the right thing. GOOD FOR YOU!!! And no I didn't know that men metabolize alcohol faster than women, even at the same size and weight. And I also didn't know, that the week before your period, you absorb alcohol faster into your blood, raising your BAC. Hm I learned something new today. Thank you!

| Good for you. Life is definitely too short, particularly if you have other means. I did know that men metabloize alcohol faster than women, but was unaware of the faster absorption before your period. Did you also know that if you have one drink and then drive even 4 hours later, you will still blow an alcohol level rating - and the charge will be the same as if you were at the legal limit?!! Just something to think about.....
