|  Terri, I am so sorry about this. I wish you the best. Our shepard/malamute was 13 1/2 when we had to put her down a year ago last Aug. She had bad hips and the the last 9 months of her life she was on "prednisone". It helped tremendous. Maybe you should ask you vet about prednisone. My vet said, when this doesn't help any longer than it is time. And yes Terri, we knew when it was time.  I am praying for you all.

|  Molly update Just thought I'd let you who have responded so nicely know that Molly is doing better. She is walking on her own now.  She has been on antibiotics so maybe it was just some type of infection or something. Her tests for cancer came back negative so that is good news. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and words. Have a wonderful Christmas |

| Teri, glad to hear your golden girl is doing better and responding to the meds. Let's hope it continues! They do give us a good fright once in a while. Thinking of you!

| I had a samoyed growing up that that happened to. She was 14 and my parents ended up having to have her put down since she couldn't walk anymore and it was horrible for her! Im soooo sorry that your baby is having these problems! This is the hard part of pet ownership! Outlasting them
