| My friend did these for Christmas one year. They are just adorable! mice.jpg CHRISTMAS MICE Needed: Maraschino cherries with stems hershey kisses sliced almonds almond bark, chocolate Melt the almond bark according to directions. Dip maraschino cherry (be sure to remove most wetness) by stem into chocolate. Adhere hershey kiss onto cherry opposite the stem (this becomes the mouse's head-stem becomes tail). Between the hershey kiss and cherry, stick two sliced almonds in to represent ears. Display together (they look like a little mouse army) with the poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas... Very very adorable. You can also use small tube of gel icing to add little eyes on the mouse's head. The response from people who see these is incredible! Here's another site http://www.thisweeknews.com/?story=s...unkenmice.html

Actually- I NEVER bake...I can COOK, but the "exact" ness of baking drives me crazy-I like to cook, where I can add things to taste, and measuring is all approximate I had 3 friends with me yesterday, and we baked from about 10 AM until 4, then went to the mall and dinner, and then came back and frosted all the sugar cookies at 10 PM! It was a LONG day!

I posted the Oreo Snowballs on the other thread They don't have coconut...I bet you could roll them in coconut too after the white chocolate though if you wanted to! I can probably find a ginger snap recipe for you-let me look around. The ones we made yesterday were actually "Old Fashioned Molasses Cookies"-but they taste like Ginger snaps....They're dense, and not really soft. I know the kind of cookie you're looking for, and I prefer them! The Andes Mint Chocolate Chip cookies were actually a "cheat" recipe by a friend of mine who doesn't really bake...she bought a premade dry chocolate chip cookie mix, and added store bought Andes Mint chunks to it! They're AWESOME-and they were super easy to make! Peanut Butter Blossoms are the ones that are Peanut butter cookies with the Hershey's Kiss in the center... I think they have many names Forgotten Kisses are a meringue style cookie-I posted the recipe in the other thread for these.

| Just a note for anyone else who might be candy-challenged . If you're going to make the reindeer cookies, instead of buying a bag of regular M&M's and going thru the entire bag trying to find red and green ones (like I did last night ). Of course, most people probably already knew this

| Reindeer Cookies (Version 1) Ingredients: • Nutter Butter Cookies • Peanut Butter • Raisins • Small Pretzel Twists • Red M & M Candies with Peanuts Directions: 1. Place a small amount of peanut butter on the top of a Nutter Butter cookie and then put a small pretzel twist on the peanut butter (letting it stick beyond the cookie) for antlers. Put two more dots of peanut butter and add raisins for eyes. Finally put a dot of peanut butter on the bottom part of the cookie and add a red M & M for a nose. You can cover the nutter butter cookies in white chocolate or chocolate instead of peanut butter.....Or we just used the plain cookie. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Cookies Very CUTE little cookies that will bring a smile to the little ones faces! Great little cookies to send to school on "Christmas Party" day! You will be the hit of the classroom! (hint: you can use iceing bag with piping tip, and a frosting that dries hard to stick on the eyes and nose, I use a stiff buttercream frosting colored the color of the eyes and nose, it works faster for me than the melted chocolate) 32 cookies 33 min 30 min prep Change to: cookies US Metric 4 ounces chocolate-flavored candy coating 96 thin pretzel sticks 1 (16 ounce) package Nutter Butter sandwich cookies 64 miniature M&M baking bits (blue, green, or brown) 32 cinnimon red cinnamon candies or red miniature M&M baking bits Microwave the chocolate in a small glass dish on high for 3 minutes, stirring once. For each Rudolph dip 2 prezel sticks in chocolate snd stict to top of each sandwich cookie, forming large antlers. Break one pretzle in half, dip n chocolate and place pretzel half next to longer pretzel sticks, forming antlers. Dip one side of blue, green, or brown mini M&M's in melted candy coating and place, coated side down, on cookies for the eyes. Dip one side of the cinnimon red hot, or red M&M in candy coating, and place on cookies, coated side down, for the nose. reindeer.jpg
