These sound interesting Andes Mint Chip/Chocolate Chip cookies
And I have never heard of these - or by a different name Forgotten Kisses and Peanut Butter Blossoms |
Black and White cookies are basically harder sugar cookies, with half dipped in chocolate. Sometimes we dip the other half in white chocolate too. Traditionally they are heart shaped, about 2-3" in diameter.
I posted the Oreo Snowballs on the other thread

They don't have coconut...I bet you could roll them in coconut too after the white chocolate though if you wanted to!
I can probably find a ginger snap recipe for you-let me look around. The ones we made yesterday were actually "Old Fashioned Molasses Cookies"-but they taste like Ginger snaps....They're dense, and not really soft. I know the kind of cookie you're looking for, and I prefer them!
The Andes Mint Chocolate Chip cookies were actually a "cheat" recipe by a friend of mine who doesn't really bake...she bought a premade dry chocolate chip cookie mix, and added store bought Andes Mint chunks to it! They're AWESOME-and they were super easy to make!
Peanut Butter Blossoms are the ones that are Peanut butter cookies with the Hershey's Kiss in the center... I think they have many names
Forgotten Kisses are a meringue style cookie-I posted the recipe in the other thread for these.
