I just ordered a tee shirt from them for my daughter so I'm sure they will stalk me now. I think I got signed up for them because I requested the Vegetarian kit. I had to email them several times for them to stop.

Like you said, they could do so much good and get across their point so much better if they didn't do such extreme stuff. They have a lot of great resources like a list of places that do and don't do animal testing.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that pamplet is being handed out here. It's here where they handed out...bloody macdonald's happy meals to kids. They used to be so confrontational when the circus was in town...that now they are allowed to be there and picket but NOT approach anyone. How would you like your 5 year being given a graphic pamplet of bloody circus animals? Had that happen to us.

Not too long ago...two of their employees traveled to NC with the pretense of picking up shelter animals to find them homes. What they actually did...was euthanize them in the van and toss their bodies into dumpsters. The shelters weren't aware of this obviously and said the animals...which included puppies and kittens...could've certainly found homes.

Oh yeah, I ordered the vegetarian kit a while back too so I guess they already had me. Are you a vegetarian?

I wish, but no. It's so hard!! Not just with recipes but with when you go out to dinner, visit relatives, etc.

But I try to be "meat free" for 3 days a week. I've also cut out most types of meat completely. I haven't eaten beef or pork for a couple of years now. I've never been big on most meats so I've never had lamb, duck, etc.

I only have chicken, turkey, and fish. So I guess it's better than nothing!!

I've seen this.

It did not change my views and beliefs at all.

I am not a big fan of black/white extremes in any field; religion, politics etc.

I am not a vegetarian but do believe that the animals I eat are entitled to live healthy, respected, happy lives before they end up on my table. Including their last moments.

This is why I will be raising my own, beef, sheep, poultry etc and have a year round solar heated greenhouse.

Also knowing that my food sources are organic and free of steroids, antibiotics and anything else I wouldn't choose to ingest.

I am also a part of the growing group of working americans without health insurance.

It would cost $2,000 a month to self insure and that doesn't include co-pays etc.

I invest in organic, whole, clean foods instead.

How can we hope to think how we treat each other will ever change if we allow how Butterball, Tyson, Perdue etc treat out food sources?
