| Coughing at Night, losing sleep I have this ugly cold i am trying to get over but I can't sleep at night, with the constant coughing... anyone have a good home remedy to stop the coughing during the night? I take night quill but its not working... |

| I have been fighting a cold too up half the night coughing lots of flem I have been taking Tylenol Cold Multi-Symtom tastes awful way worse than Nyquil but it seems to stop the coughing for the most part and I can sleep hope this helps

| Try sleeping propped almost upright. Your back will probably hate it, but the coughing will be not as much. Mucinex is good, too, they have one with a cough suppressant in it. It helps you actually get all that gook out, so you have a more productive cough. Lots of hot tea with lemon and honey too. I hope you feel better soon

| Okay, this is going to sound crazy, but it works. Put Vicks Vap-o-Rub on the bottoms of your feet before you go to bed, and put socks on. No one knows why this works, but it does! The socks are just to prevent the Vicks from getting on your sheets.

| this isnt crazy. my mom did this for us as kids... on our feet , chest... back, and when your throat REALLY hurt we would eat a bit.. small bit... but it worked..lol I have a dry cough so thats the worst.. |
