Woo Hoo!!! More raffle ticket purchases!! I'm going to have plenty of them with me. I've been working hard this last month to get everything done and have a wide variety of fabrics.

I was supposed to have a layover in Kansas City today (I'm a flight attendant) but the weather was so bad we had to go around the storms and missed our connection so I am in Denver!! Bummer, because I was going to check everything out, we layover right on the plaza!! Oh well, I'll be there in a week anyway!!

This probably isn't the best back-up plan, but Des (Tiger's Mom), Lisa (Sukoshi's Mom), Cyndi (Izzy Princess) and I are sharing a room and we have booked a connecting "parlor" to it is kind of a suite. I have no idea what the "parlor" looks like and I'm sure it would be a tight fit, but in case of rain, we can hang there!!!!!!

Yea...unfortunately...I don't have any good ideas for a "back-up plan". Of course they have no idea what the weather's going to do in a week (the MO meteorologists don't know what it's going to do TOMORROW...atleast...they didn't when I lived there ), but right now, they're calling for "scattered thunderstorms" next Friday, so a back-up plan is a good idea. Like Jodie said, we'll probably just have to plan to hang out in each other's rooms. I'll ask the hotel if the ballroom is available as a back-up plan, and if we could use that on Friday as well for only a minimal fee...

I agree!! I think we should plan to just hang out in each others' rooms, and if we come up with something better by then, great

See....now my idea of putting up a gate at the end of the hallway and letting them run up and down the hallways doesn't sound so bad anymore LOL!!!

Mom and I ended up making a trip back to the Plaza yesterday so we could see the bowtique in person. It was a cute little shop with a lot of adorable sweaters and clothes, but she definitely had "boutique" prices. I just say this as fair warning for anyone who wants to stop by the Doggie Style Bowtique, so you can make sure you have plenty of extra $. The owner was very nice, and she said she'd make sure to have plenty of "Yorkie sizes" stocked up for that weekend in June. She did say she was closed on Sundays, so I presume most of you will want to go on that Friday, as the meet-up will take up most of the day on Saturday.




This boutique had been mentioned some time ago but not recently so I wanted to remind everyone this is another possibility for shopping and is within range of the hotel shuttle.

I don't think any of us thought that was a bad idea ! The problem is that the dogs are required to be on a leash at all times when not in our rooms, and the way the hotel is laid out, people who aren't part of our group will have to be walking through the hallways to get to their room, so we won't be able to block the halls off...no matter how much fun it would be ...
