| I'm not sure. I know several people have asked for their money back. She would like to give it back because she is so sweet but right now doesn't have it. I know she doesn't have enough people registered to cover the cost of the food that she has to commit to.

| OK - First of all - I will post an update on the current registration list soon. I haven't been on the computer much recently, and I need to get caught up on e-mails to see if we have any new registrations. Secondly, we have had a few cancellations now, but I have told the members that the registration fee is non-refundable (as stated in the original thread), unless we have an overwhelming number of registrations that flood in here at the end, and we have enough leftover to be able to give them a refund after all. Of course, that's what I'd like to do (I don't want people to just be out the money), but I can't say yet if that will be possible (it's not looking good). As an alternative, I've given members having to cancel an option of selling or donating their registration to someone else. That way, I don't have to worry about having enough left at the end to process refunds, but hopefully no one will be out any money either if they can't come to the meet-up. Admin/YT has no financial responsibility for the meet-up. Thirdly, we do have a minimum food and beverage fee we owe the hotel for the meet-up. At this point, we almost have this fee covered, so I'm not too worried about it at this point. Registration and vendor sign-ups have both been lower than anticipated, but I think we'll be ok financially, so thank you very much for your concern (I love you all), but I think we'll be ok. Everyone has been so generous with donations for the raffle and goodie bags, and I so appreciate that! Otherwise, I was going to have to figure out how to buy things for the raffle and bags, so it's a relief I don't have to cover that cost. Last edited by Sukoshi's Mom; 05-06-2008 at 06:58 AM. |

| The registration price will be going UP again beginning May 16th, so everyone who is planning on attending but hasn't paid their registration fee yet may want to consider paying it by midnight PST on May 15th!!! The fee with dinner will be going from $90 to $100 per person. The fee withOUT dinner will be staying at $50 per person. If you want to register via PayPal, send your payment through PayPal to yorkietalkmeetup@yahoo.com. Be sure to include your YT user ID and e-mail address I can contact you at (if different than your PayPal address), and I will reply with additional questions I need answered for the registration spreadsheet. If you want to register via check or money order, send an e-mail to yorkietalkmeetup@yahoo.com, and state that you wish to register via check or money order. I will reply to your e-mail with the address to mail your payment to, and I will consider you registered as of the date I receive your e-mail, pending that I receive your payment within a week or so afterwards. As a special incentive for YT members who joined January 2008 or after... Since you never had the opportunity to register at the lowest rate, if you register by midnight PST on May 15th, your registration fee will be $70 with dinner or $30 without dinner. That is the lowest registration price we could ever offer our members, so this is a GREAT deal for our newbies! We'd love to see you and your babies in KC in June! | Thanks for all the updates, everyone. Angi, I'm really sorry you can't make it-I was really looking forward to meeting you and your furbabies, but I completely understand. Hugs to you! Lisa, is there anything that you NEED right now-more donations for goodie bags, $ donations to make it possible, speakers, etc? Let me know what I can do to help!

Also-nametags-I was planning to bring Emma, but I might be bringing Milli now instead. Is that going to be a problem? When do I need to let you know by? Or, are the nametags just for people ?
