Just found out about this meeting. I want to go. I have family in Kansas City I can stay with. It is great. Sounds like fun. Have there been others?

I don't think there has ever been one this big, but we have local meetups all the time. I chose to go because I have family in KC as well, and I know how absolutely awesome the plaza area is. Plus, 50+ yorkies in one place? You bet I'm gonna be there! It would be awesome if you could make it! I am going to be staying with family too, so I can kill two birds with one stone!

The current list looks great..........I am really looking forward to going and meeting all of you and your furbabies.
I attended the YTCGKC Specialty show in KC a few years ago and I felt like I had died and gone to Yorkie heaven.
This will be even better.......that's 52 yorkies at the meet up that I can actually meet and touch and/or play with. WOW!

YTCGKC...........Yorkshire Terrier Club of Greater Kansas City.

I'm not to familiar with KC & I don't remember the name of the arena/auditorium the show was held in, but there was a regular dog show held in late August of 2005(?) and the yorkie club held their specialty after the regular dog show ended on Friday night. I had met a breeder & member of the club here in Omaha in July at the Omaha Dog show and she invited myself & my husband to the specialty. The club also held a dinner and auction the next night that she invited us to also. It was quite the experiance for me seeing so many beautiful yorkies in one place & meeting some nice people. That all took place when I was very new to owning yorkies, so like I said, felt like I had died and gone to yorkie heaven.

No worries, just a little minor heartattack.

Although I'm still thinking about not bringing all five, can you imagine the morning potty breaks.

And trying to control all five at dinner, I don't know about anyone else but I'm a little worried about leaving any of them in the room by themselves.
