Have you tried Orbitz.com? I use them all the time. They have wonderful deals!

Orbitz is ok But I have found if you go right to the airline, Most of the time you get a better deal.

I am such a DORK. How did I not know this was going on? Thank goodness Ms. Kimmie texted and asked if I was going to make it. And in KC... I can't believe it. YAY!!!!

I've already contacted my family that lives there to see if they'll be in town that weekend because we'll stay there to save money, but I'm definitely in for all for all of the activities.

As soon as I hear back from my sister-in-law, I'll be sending in my registration.

Thank you so much to Lisa and everyone else who helped behind the scenes to get this set up.

YT friends (and vendors), here we come!!!

You both are so right!!! I live in a very small city not to mention the ONLY airline they have is Continental

so thats why its soo expensive.....I even compared driving an hour to the other airport (which is still small) but they house 4 airlines...and at the time, I was getting a $500 rate an hour away vs. $640 at my hometown airport.....BUT now that my hometown airport went down its $520 hometown vs $500 (hour away airport) but I may hold off just a little while longer because maybe the hour away airport may decrease their price....

I think you are doing the right thing by weighing your options between the two airports. But I wouldn't hesitate much longer. Once it jumps, there isn't anything you can do but kick yourself for not doing it sooner!

those prices will probably go up & down several times in the next 6 mths. If you're not signed up for the airlines served by your airport, do it, so you'll be aware immediately of sales. Also, most of the airlines take out newspaper ads when they're having sales. Saying a prayer you can find something resonable. I know how hard that can be - I fly out of the Des Moines, Iowa airport & our prices are not cheap. It really does to have with traffic patterns & competition.

Well I made our reservations today... I will be sharing a room with Lucky lady and Proud Mommy . I Also will have a connecting room with Suzy and Yorkie Smiles. can we say PARTY!!!!!.
It is going to be SO much fun Y'all.
