BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Anyone have Asthma? did you find yourself constantly clearing your throat? Waking up every morning with phlegm? If you don't clear your throat, you feel like you can't breath? by the way, I'm a non smoker. Would these symptoms be Asthma? |

| Sorta sounds to me like sinus drainage. Do you sleep on two pillows at night? If you get that phlegm in your throat in the morning, sleeping on two pillows where your head would be elevated more will help that. I know when I get the sinus drainage, it is harder for me to breath also. I don't know why that is though. I hope you feel better.

| Yes I have asthma but I'm ok my son wakes up everyday with the same symptoms as you. He is always clearing his throat and says he feel like something is stuck in his throat. I have been taking advair spray (it new) not the diskus and I hardly use my emergency spray. I tell him he needs to use it religiously for it to work along with the singulair. That helps with the post nasal drip and clearing of the throat.

| Or do you eat a lot of foods during the day that are dairy related? Do you put milk in your coffee? Cause I know dairy products can create phlegm or by eating them, make the phlegm worse. I feel bad for you. I hope you get it figured out.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I have Asthma but only have your symptoms when recovering from a cold which I am doing know. Asthma affects your ability to breath more like a shortness of breath and wheezing. I have an inhaler with me at all times. I would check with your doctor. I do hope you feel better real soon. You need to be in tip top shape to take care of those new babies of yours!

| I have asthma and allergies and get those symptoms every morning. The medications help but don't make it go away completely. Its a combination of asthma and post-nasal drip (sinus drip - like Rudy's mom said). I have had it for years. You could also be allergic to certain foods which may make it worse. I would see an allergist they can let you know if its allergies or asthma.

| It could be acid reflux. One of my coworkers has that problem, but his is a constant need to hack throughout the day. I'd go see a gastrologist (I think that's wat it's called). Especially since the taste you said was bitter....it sounds more like stomach acid to me than phlem.

| Right. I wasn't talking about coughing, but clearing your throat. The way you're describing it is exactly how my coworker describes his. There are different levels of acid reflux.. I have it, but just mildly. He has a very severe case.

| I strongly suggest you see an allergist who can help determine if you may also need to see a gastroenterologist.() Acid reflux is not a nice problem to deal with either. Many allergy symptoms can be controlled with medications and there are lots of them available depending on your cause and symptoms. Asthma can be triggered by allergies too. Also, there is no such thing as "mild asthma". You either have it or you don't. You may have a mild attack and never have another or they may escalate into something difficult to control. I have allergies and asthma and sometimes, the attacks get pretty frightening. If you are worried, don't try to self medicate; get to your physician and let him help you. Best wishes! |
